How do I find a business in my local area?

You can search in a variety of ways.  By selecting Find a Business from the top menu, you can search for a type of business or an individual business name in your local area.  Also, you can manually browse our business directory by either selecting the city and state and then narrowing it down by category, or selecting the category and then narrowing it down by city and state.

GENERAL LISTINGS QUESTIONS

How do I claim my listing?

If you have a business listing in BailBondsman.org and have not yet claimed it, claiming it is simple.  When you are on your business profile page, simply click on “Is This Business Yours?” below the map of your business location.  If you are not able to find your business, go to www.bailbondsman.org/add-business/1/. 

How do you have my business information?

Data services provide business information to many online business directories like BailBondsman.org.  These listings receive the lowest priority until they are claimed. 

How do I sign-in to my account?

Simply select “Sign In” in the top right of any page.  From there, input your user name and password and you will be able to both view your business profile, and update any information in it.

How do I find my username and password?

When you claimed your business on BailBondsman.org, or added it to one of our partner sites, you should have received a welcome e-mail with your user name and password in it.  If you never received this e-mail, or misplaced it, go to www.bailbondsman.org/sign-in/ and select “Forgot Password”.

How do I view my business profile?

  • Go to www.bailbondsman.org
  • Select “Sign In” in the upper right
  • Type in your Username and Password
  • Select “View Profile”

Here you will be able to view how a potential customer will view the information you have presented.  If any of the information in this view is incorrect, select the “Back” button on your internet browser.  On this page, select “Edit Profile”.

How do I change my city?

  • Go to www.bailbondsman.org
  • Select “Sign In” in the upper right
  • Type in your Username and Password
  • Select “Edit Profile”
  • Select “Request Change of City/Category” on the bottom
  • Select new city from the drop-down menu on the pop-up
  • Select “Request Change”

How do I change my category?

  • Go to www.bailbondsman.org
  • Select “Sign In” in the upper right
  • Type in your Username and Password
  • Select “Edit Profile”
  • Select Categories from the menu on the left-hand side
  • Search for a new category in the open field
  • Select the category from the drop-down menu
  • Select “Add Category” next to the open field
  • Type in a brief description into the new open field with the category name above it
  • Select “Save Changes”
  • Select “Delete Category” above the open field of the category you wish to remove yourself from
  • Select “Save Changes”

How do I upload a logo?

  • Go to www.bailbondsman.org
  • Select “Sign In” in the upper right
  • Type in your Username and Password
  • Select “Edit Profile”
  • Select Logo/Photos from the menu on the left-hand side
  • Next to the open field under “Upload your company logo” select “Browse…”
  • Browse your computer or network to find your desired logo
    • The file must be in JPG, GIF or PNG format
  • Select the desired photo file
  • Check to make sure the field next to “Browse…” has been populated with your desired file
  • If the field is correctly populated, select “Save Changes” from the bottom right

 

How do I upload photos?

  • Go to www.bailbondsman.org
  • Select “Sign In” in the upper right

  • Next to the open field under “Upload additional photos” select “Browse…”
  • Browse your computer or network to find your desired logo
    • The file must be in JPG, GIF or PNG format
  • Select the desired photo file
  • Check to make sure the field next to “Browse…” has been populated with your desired file
  • If the field is correctly populated, select “Save Changes” from the bottom right
    • Only one photo may be uploaded at a time, so select “Save Changes” after you have correctly selected each photo

 

What additional information can I place on my profile?

After you have logged in to your account select “Edit Profile”.  In the left-hand toolbar, select “Detailed Info”.  On this page you may place a business description, select product, services, brand and specialty keyword.  If you place additional keywords in the open fields, separate each keyword by a comma and capitalize the first letter of each word. 

Under the “Additional Info” tab, there are options to place information about: your company slogan, payment modes, credit cards accepted, hours of operation, certifications, professional associations, languages spoken, year founded, amenities and special considerations.

In addition, in the left-hand toolbar, by selecting “Key Contacts” you will be able to place multiple contacts with their information on your business profile. 

I only have one location, but I service multiple cities, what do I do?

  • Go to www.bailbondsman.org
  • Select “Sign In” in the upper right
  • Type in your Username and Password
  • Select “Edit Profile”
  • Select Detailed Info from the menu on the left-hand side
  • In the About Your Business open field, place the cities you also service in an organic manner
    • Do not simply list them at the end.
    • Place them fluidly in a sentence
    • The best place is in the middle of your description
  • Select “Save Changes” from the bottom right

 

How do I change the information in my profile?

In your BailBondsman.org business profile you are able to change any information except for your city, state, username or password.  To change this information:

  • Go to www.bailbondsman.org
  • Select “Sign In” in the upper right
  • Type in your Username and Password
  • Select “Edit Profile”
  • Type the correct information into the fields containing the incorrect information
  • Select “Save Changes” in the bottom right after each change

  • Select Key Contacts from the menu on the left-hand side

I lost my badge, how do I receive a new one?

My business has been claimed, but I never claimed it.

There are data services who may claim your listing without your knowing.  If you would like to dispute this claim, send an e-mail to with your business name and a brief description of the dispute.

In order to change the information and receive a username and password to sign-in to your profile, you will need to call from the phone number that is to be listed on your profile and fax us with your company letterhead.
